Node.js Developer

Location: Hybrid (Remote + 1 day at office, Yakkala)
Office: Spaces by Techseya, Gampaha Road, Yakkala

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our growing development team. You will play a key role in building scalable backend services and integrating APIs for web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Node.js backend services.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile platforms.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Work collaboratively with front-end and mobile developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and deploy production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js / NestJS or similar frameworks.
• Experience with databases (SQL / NoSQL such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with API integrations and version control (Git).
• Good understanding of backend architecture and coding principles.
• Ability to attend the office 1 day per week.
